Chris is a UBC graduate with an MFA in Directing and a BFA in Acting. His Thesis Production of George F. Walker’s Suburban Motel plays Problem Child and The End of Civilization, was performed in the Telus Studio. An Associate Director for City Stage New West, Chris directs the BC premiere of Freud’s Last Session at Galbraith House in January, 2014. Recent directing credits: Our Country’s Good (UBC Players’ Club); Welcome to My Wake and Figment (Vancouver Fringe Festival); The Last 5 Years at Jericho Arts Centre (also set/lighting designer and pianist); The Lover and Sex, Madness, Rock n’ Roll (also writer, music director, actor, pianist) both for Fugue Theatre. Acting credits include: five Pick-of-the-Fringe plays, most recently Romance by David Mamet; Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady (Richmond Gateway); and in TV/film: Supernatural, Painkiller Jane, Stargate, Cold Squad, Shooter, Along Came a Spider, Scary Movie.
