Susan Anderson

Susan, a native Vancouverite, is a veteran musical theatre performer who has appeared coast to coast in Canada; London’s West End; Osaka, Japan; and Stuttgart, Germany.

  • Six Women with Brain Death for the Arts Club Theatre
  • Godspell and Cole Porter for David H.Y. Lui
  • Anne of Green Gables, Paradise Hill, Johnny Belinda, and Sunshine Sketches Of A Little Town for the Charlottetown Festival
  • Stop the World, Scrooge and Peer Gynt for the Vancouver Playhouse
  • Lady Audley’s Secret for the Shaw Festival

A highlight of Susan’s career was co-starring in Anne of Green Gables in London, England for a year. She can be heard on the original London cast recording.

Susan was a series regular for three years on The Tommy Hunter Show. She has taught musical theatre for years and has adjudicated numerous dance festivals.

She appeared as:

  • Miss Hannigan in Annie for Theatre Under the Stars and Royal City Musical Theatre
  • The Narrator in Joseph
  • Dorothy in 42nd Street
  • Nancy in Oliver
  • and as Mama Rose in the critically acclaimed Gypsy
